£3.2 million in funding
3rd February 2012Subject to detailed contract negotiations and confirmation of match funding and delivery arrangements, the Mayor of London’s Regeneration Fund has allocated a total package worth £3.323m for the south of Camden Town. This includes around £1.1m of match funding from the Council, Camden Town Unlimited (CTU) and Transport for London (TfL). In this terminating show, Camden Town Unlimited presents a film by the artist Peter Sant. Shot after hours in a nearby department store, Sant’s film, Shop Floor uses the in-store furniture displays as film sets to reveal a disorderly account of the lives of a young middle-class Chinese family. ... more
