The Jewish Museum - Reopens at last!

12th February 2010Officers from Camden Town with Primrose Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team have recently been working to address community concerns about drug dealing in Camden High Street. This is one of the priorities set by our Safer Neighbourhoods Panel. During the last week the team made 10 arrests for drug dealing and related offences in Camden Town. Over the nights of Friday 29th and Saturday 30th January 2010 the team worked night duty from 6pm to 6am. By 10pm on Saturday night we had made a total of 8 arrests of those involved in drug supply. ... more

5th February 2010In November and December 2009 Camden Town Unlimited got together with our partners at Wedge Card to put out the Big Book of Wedge, which was a festive collection of super special deals from local businesses to be redeemed using the Camden Town Wedge Card. Tube Closures and Work this weekend
22nd January 2010Transport for London are working on the biggest transformation in the Tube's history. They are currently rebuilding the entire network, from tracks to trains and signals to stations, in a ten year upgrade programme, which is about to take effect in Camden Town. What this means long term is better service, higher passenger capacity on the trains and a smoother, faster ride each time you jump on board. Christmas Lights Are On
4th December 2009Last night saw the turning on of the all new Camden Town Christmas lights, the switch of which was thrown by Councillor Keith Moffitt, Leader of Camden Council, along with CTU's own Chief Executive Simon Pitkeathley. The Lights were turned on as part of an event hosted by MTV Europe at their Camden Town headquarters, and featured extra special acoustic sets from Fightstar as well as Kids in Glass Houses, both of which went down a storm with the hundreds of fans gathered outside on Hawley Crescent, closed for the evening for the occasion, who braved the cold to be part of the festive fun. ... more

20th November 2009The Camden Businesses Against Crime is an ongoing project of CTU's that brings the business community together around a two way radio system to help fight crime and antisocial behaviour in Camden Town. The radios link participating businesses to each other, Street Wardens, local PCSO's and the CCTV control room.
