Camden Lock Railway Bridge
5th March 2010
This week we have received confirmation from Camden Council that that have had approval from Network Rail to proceed with a Camden Lock Railway Bridge lighting project to further rejuvenate the area.
CTU and LBC are very pleased that NR has managed to turn this around so quickly. The plan is to commence the project on 9/3, and the project includes a full deep clean of the underside of the bridge and walls; installation of pigeon proofing; installation of functional lighting attached to bridge walls (on both sides), and; installation of feature lighting to underside of bridge.
The complete timeline is not yet confirmed for the works, but we understand that the cleaning and painting phase will take two weeks (taking place 9pm-5am Sunday-Thursday). The pigeon proofing and lighting is expected to only take one additional week from delivery of materials.
CTU welcome this news and look forward to seeing the results.
