Transport for London are working on the biggest transformation in the Tube's history. They are currently rebuilding the entire network, from tracks to trains and signals to stations, in a ten year upgrade programme, which is about to take effect in Camden Town. What this means long term is better service, higher passenger capacity on the trains and a smoother, faster ride each time you jump on board. However in the short term this means there will be closures and delays, beginning this weekend. The Northern Line will be closed between Euston and Golders Green this weekend 23rd and 24th January, with rail replacement buses in effect.
