In our original 2008 BID Proposal we promised to increase security presence on the streets of Camden Town. By paying for over 1000 hours of security patrolling, we managed to demonstrate the significant effect that additional policing would have on the area. Since then the MET and LBC have jointly funded 28 dedicated uniformed officers (18 PCSO’s and 10 PC’s) resulting in over £2 million of investment focused on cutting crime in the town centre. ... more

We’re really excited to announce the launch of a new free recycling scheme to BID members. We’ve teamed up with First Mile to provide you with a free and simple mixed recycling collection service. We’ll supply you with an allocation of sacks that will accept all your paper, plastics, metals, tetrapak, card and cardboard mixed together (there’s no need for you to separate anything!). Leave your CTU sacks out on the pavement by 18.00 every Wednesday and First Mile will be along to collect. It really is as simple as that. ... more
