We have established a steadily growing radio link programme named CBAC (Camden Business Against Crime) where businesses are linked to police, wardens and CCTV. CBAC radios have done a great deal to help Camden Town achieve a marked reduction in crime and also importantly the fear of crime.
Aswell as providing the option to notify CCTV and allow other users of the scheme to acknowledge the situation and take appropriate action, the scheme provides businesses access to photographs of constant, active and prolific offenders involved in anti-social behaviour, disorder and crime, along with an Exclusion Notice scheme seeing persistant offenders barred from members premises. CBAC also provide an incident report pack which is submitted to the Co-ordinated then fed into BICS, a software package which enables information to be collated, shared and disseminated in between members, evidence from these reports can be used to apply Anti-Social Behaviour Orders.
