Camden Town Wedge Card

May 2009 saw the launch the Camden Town Wedge Card where, in partnership with the London wide Wedge Card, CTU set up a local discount card scheme in Camden Town. CTU provide complimentary cards to local employees and residents, and encourage Camden Town businesses to sign up to the scheme, promoting their business to the local population via its weekly newsletter to all card holders.
Following a fabulous launch event at The Monarch, around 100 local businesses signed up to give offers and over 5,000 employees applied for cards. Offers range from discounts at local restaurants, shops, bars and venues and CTU have further supplemented the scheme with one-off publications such as The Big Book of Wedge, highlighting the Camden Town offer during competitive trading periods.
The ongoing success of the scheme proves the mutual benefits of Wedge. For card holders, all kinds of savings and special offers across participating shops, for businesses, more customers, and for CTU a happy and thriving business district with loads of innovative collaborations between our businesses.
